<p> Caroni Rum 23 Years Old Sherry Finish – Rum Nation Rare Rums (50CL, 55.4%)</p><p> The Caroni 23 Years Old is a Pot Still rum produced from molasses distilled in 1998 and aged in oak barrels for 16 years before undergoing a second maturation of approximately 7 years in ex-sherry barrels, before being bottled at full strength ( 55.4% vol.) without the addition of colorants and without being cold filtered in a total of 960 bottles.</p><p><p> Color: Amber.</p></p><p> Aroma: The nose is deep and aromatic, the second maturation in sherry is noticeable, we have notes of tropical fruit, orange peel, licorice and spices with hints of coffee.</p><p><p> Taste: On the palate it is powerful, we have notes of black pepper, cinnamon, orange peel, anise, oak and medicinal herbs with hints of licorice root.</p></p><p> Finish: The finish is long and warm with notes of caramel, cinnamon, licorice, spiced oak, pastry biscuits and candied citrus.</p><p>
