<p>Brilliant ruby red. Complex nose of cherry, rose, cedar, violets & prunes. Balanced, soft and elegant body with ripe red fruits.</p><p>The family at Castello di Querceto make a very fine example of Chianti Classico indeed. It is 92% Sangiovese, with the remainder being made up of Colorino, Canaiolo, Mammolo, and Ciliegiolo.</p><p>It spends at least 12 months ageing in mostly old oak, and shows the black tea, smoke, cherry, and plum fruit that make Chianti Classico so great. It is a full-bodied and commanding wine that shows especially well if it paired with beef, game, or strong hard cheese like pecorino or manchego.</p><p>Will keep for 15 years after the vintage.</p>
