He is joined by Master Blender<em> Alejandro Carcia Páez</em> at the Fabrica de Tequilos Finos distillery where they create the full lineup of <em>ultra-premium agave Spirits</em> for Cenote Tequila. Currently the range includes Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, Cristalino, and the game-changing “Green Orange” agave Liqueur infused with bitter orange zest.</p><p>The first thing you notice about <em>Cenote Tequila Añejo </em>is its rich amber coloring coming from a full year aging in American oak casks. But the story starts long before that. This is<em> 100% Weber blue agave</em> Spirit expertly crafted by masters of the craft. In fact, during its first year of release it took home the <em>Gold Medal</em> at The Spirits Business Tequila & Mezcal Masters competition.</p><p><u>Smartass Corner:</u><em>~65 million years ago, a large meteor impacted the Yucatán Peninsula. The event fractured the limestone bedrocks, allowing rainwater to begin seeping into the ground. The Mayan word “cenote” means “sacred well.” They are sinkholes filled with fresh limestone water where the fractures have opened to the surface.</em></p>
