<p>Pale gold colour. Delicate floral fragrances (hawthorn) mixed with aromas of citrus fruit on a subtle minerality. Pure and well-crafted. Taut and precise with a linear structure. Very pure fruit combination. Refreshing mineral finish.</p><p>Chardonnay grapes are taken from a lot-based selection on hills ideally located south of the village of Chablis, these vineyards have predominently limestone soils. After a cool and rainy winter and a frost episode in April, the weather at the end of spring was warmer but rainy which engendered a late flowering. The summer was warm and dry. September was warm and the harvest took place mid September under a bright sunshine. The white wines are precise and taut and develop very pure aromas.</p><p>Great with pâté, lobsters and poultry as well as some goat cheeses.</p>
