<p>Taste the Islay sea breeze in this limited-edition single cask.</p><p>Chapter 7 Whisky operates on one simple premise — <em>each cask of Whisky is unique</em>. The wood, age, temperature, its location in the rick-house… everything tells its own story. Large Scotch producers marry casks in large vats before bottling so that the master blender can try to make them all taste the same. The folks at Chapter 7 Whisky think that’s a shame. Chapter 7 is the brainchild of<em> Selim Evin</em>. He thinks that each cask should tell its own unique tale, so he travels to Scotland and Ireland to <em>hand-select single casks </em>from the inventories of the world’s greatest distilleries. Then he custom bottles each one with its own story. How many bottles, you ask? Well, until the barrel is empty.</p><p>Like all Chapter 7 Monologue releases, this one is also a <em>single cask</em>. And no, we don’t mean a series of single casks, but just one single cask of a stunning Single Malt from the revered <em>Caol Ila distillery</em> on the isle of <em>Islay</em>. It was distilled in <em>2012 </em>and aged in a single <em>Bourbon hogshead cask</em> before it was bottled in 2021. Single cask means not very many bottles were yielded; to be precise, there were <em>only 301 bottles produced</em> of the fruity, smoky and salty<em> Chapter 7 Monologue 8 Year Old Caol Ila 2012.</em> If you hurry, there might still be one left for you.</p>
