<p>Château d’Aiguilhe 2005 from the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation is an impressive wine from an excellent vintage, impressing with its concentration, structure, and longevity. The winery belongs to the family of Count Stephan von Neipperg, who is also responsible for renowned wineries such as Château Canon-La-Gaffelière and La Mondotte. The wine is predominantly Merlot with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, giving it a harmonious balance of ripe fruit, spice, and elegance. The nose unfolds a complex bouquet with aromas of black cherries, cassis, and ripe plums, accompanied by subtle notes of tobacco, cedarwood, cocoa, and a hint of mineral freshness.
