Easy going drinker that is made for mellow casseroles (but not such an everyday claret you should put it in!).Chateau Malbat has been owned by the Rochet family for 6 generations since 1865 (old, but 10 years after the 1855 classification!). Predominantly Merlot with a touch of Cab Sauv, the grapes are sourced from holdings in the Southern Gironde at make Bordeaux & Bordeaux Superior wines.
