<p>ChâteauMoulinet Lasserre Magnum, Pomerol, Bordeaux, France, 2016 Grapes: A blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand picked, 18 months’ ageing in oak barrels (30% new)Twin sister of Pomerol’s renowned Clos René, the vineyard of Château Moulinet-Lasserre lies on the western part of the plateau of Pomerol. The light terroir of mainly gravelly soils allows for ideal ripening of the fruit, in dry as in wet vintages. The vineyard, which is maintained traditionally, boasts an average age of 35 years.In colour, this is deep purple-red, the aromas being open, very ripe and freshly complex.
