On the palate enjoy its weight and the powerful yet smooth black fruit and liquorice flavours with notes of mint and ‘garrigue’ or wild herbs.A ten year ageing potential will allow for the full development of this excellent Chateauneuf.Domaine Pierre Amadieu has existed since 1929. It was on this date that the grandfather of the current family, owner, decided to sell the bottles from his 7 hectares of estate located in Gigondas. Today, the third generation has taken over: Henri-Claude, Pierre, Jean-Marie and Marie all work at the estate.
