<p>Chessa Mattariga Cellars Vermentino di Sardegna DOC 2022</p><p><p>Type > Still white wine.</p><p>Grapes > Vermentino 100%.</p><p>Vineyards and cultivation> Low espalier.</p><p>Age of the vineyardIt varies from 15 to 20 years.</p><p>Yield > 70 quintals/hectare.</p><p>Soil and locationHilly area located approximately 250 meters above sea level on limestone soil, between olive groves and Mediterranean scrub.</p><p>Vinification, Maturation, Aging > The grapes, selected and harvested with the utmost care, immediately after destemming undergo a cold maceration process which determines a high varietal aromatic expression. After soft pressing, the free-run must is obtained which ferments at a controlled temperature for approximately 15 days. The wine obtained is then left to mature for approximately 5 months in steel tanks before being bottled.</p><p>Tasting Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections. The intensity of the aromas is immediately highlighted on the nose. The bouquet is complex: fruity with exotic hints, floral with fresh nuances of white flowers and broom, strong references to the Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth it is rich, round, and a good freshness immediately emerges given by the sustained acidity and flavor.</p><p>Pairings > Excellent as an aperitif or combined with seafood appetizers, traditional first courses, white meats and fried cod or in green sauce.</p><p>Service methodServe at 13° C, uncorking when pouring.</p></p>
