<p><em>The Royal Scotch.</em></p><p><em>The Chivas Regal</em> is one the most popular Scotch Whisky brands in the world. It traces its roots back to 1801 when they opened a grocery store in Aberdeen – back when they were known as Chivas Brothers. The company started blending Whisky in 1850, as a respond to their <em>affluent clientele’s</em> demand for a smoother Whisky.</p><p>In the early 1900s, Chivas Regal started <em>exporting its most aged</em> <em>blends</em> to the US, where a demand for luxury goods was rapidly growing. Chivas Regal became a <em>fashionable brand</em> of the era in the United States and was associated with <em>Frank Sinatra</em> and the rest of the Rat pack. Frankie Boy would request those Spirits backstage before–and after–performances.</p><p>Over 20 of Scotland’s<em> finest and rarest</em> Scotches are blended to create this truly <em>royal expression.</em> Wait! Do we see a raised eyebrow? Fine… be a whisky purist, but know that true aficionados never scorn a good blend, because it creates a <em>smoother </em>& <em>more complex</em> drink, with each part bringing its own characteristics. <em>Blended Scotch</em> just doesn’t get any better than this.
