<p>Chorlton Whiskey – Caol Ila 11 YO (70CL, 60.4% Vol.)Here is a new ex-Bourbon Hogshead distilled on 17 October 2010 in Caol Ila and bottled in 2022, at 10 years of age, at the full strength of 60.4% in 281 specimens.</p><p>Aroma: Camphor, wood smoke, green apple sweets, smoked oysters and mussels, as well as a slight medicinal scent. The more it breathes, the sweeter and fruitier it becomes, with smoked cherries and red berries, as well as a bit of cough syrup. </p><p>Palate: A combination of ash smoke and fruity sweetness that is truly inspiring. The development is long, with tarry smoke, coastal salt and olives alongside the fruit. </p><p>Finish: “classic” Caol Ila: clean, coastal (crab and seaweed), slightly herbaceous and lemony. </p>
