The beloved American country singer, also known modestly as the<em> “King of Country”</em>, has been a huge fan of the liquid long before it was available to mere mortals. So much so that he even wrote a song about it.</p><p><em>Código 1530 Barrel Strength </em>was matured for at least two years in the finest<em> French white oak Cabernet casks</em> you can find. One of the smoothest yet most complex Barrel Strength Tequilas out there, it clocks in at precisely<em> 88 proof</em>. The proof is higher than in their classic Añejo but it only brings bolder flavors without any throaty burn. On the contrary, the palate is actually soft with subtle caramel, vanilla, and dark chocolate dancing around. A rare expression.</p>
