<p>Tonight, we drink pink.</p><p>There was a time when you couldn’t get Código Tequila unless you were one of the <em>Los Bajos’ finest jimadors</em> who were in on the closely-guarded secret. Either that, or if you were <em>George Strait.</em> The beloved American country singer, also known modestly as the <em>“King of Country</em>”, has been a huge fan of the liquid long before it was available to mere mortals. So much so that he even wrote a song about it.</p><p><em>Código 1530 Rosa Tequila</em> takes the purity of their Blanco to the next level. After spending 1 month in uncharred <em>Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak Wine barrels</em>, it comes out of the wood in a <em>subtle pink hue</em>. The rich and delicate botanical balance of Blanco is enriched with a floral finish and soft red Wine notes from the Cabernet. At the 2018 <em>Stuttgart International Spirits Competition</em> they liked it so much, they awarded it a <em>Gold medal </em>and <em>Millenial Award Best Tequila.</em></p>
