<p>Colinas do Douro Superior Red, Douro, Portugal, 2021 Grapes: A classic Douro blend of Touriga Nacional 50%, Touriga Franca 35% and Tinto Cão 15%. A third of the blend was aged in second year barrels of French oak. The vineyards are converting to Organic.This dry red wines has awine of dark colour, resembling ripe cherries, with aromas of flowers, blackberries and Carob. In the mouth it reveals the characteristic freshness of high altitude wines. This is a mineral wine, with silky tannins, but at the same time it is unctuous and layered.
