<p>It might come in the cool shiny skull but it’s really about the Vodka inside…</p><p>Crystal Head Vodka was created by <em>Dan Ackroyd</em> and the artist who designed the <em>super cool glass skull</em> it comes in, John Alexander. Why a skull? Well, it’s a symbol for life, reflection of power, and enlightenment; all of which these two guys seem to like. The liquid inside is produced by <em>Globefill </em>Inc. in Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada without any additives — which is more than you could say for a lot of Vodkas out there… It’s also<em> filtered 7 (!!) times</em> through<em> Herkimer diamonds</em>, which are not actual diamonds but double-terminated quarts crystals found around the <em>Herkimer County</em> in New York and the Mohawk River Valley. Anyway, they make the Vodka <em>extra, extra smooth.</em></p><p><em>Crystal Head Aurora Vodka</em> is dedicated to the <em>aurora borealis</em>, hence, the iridescent skull that changes color depending on the angle. It’s made from the finest English wheat and the pristine water from <em>Newfoundland in Canada.</em> Exceptionally smooth and pure, it’s been distilled 5 times and the final 3 filtrations (out of 7) go through the Herkimer diamond stones. Prepare for wonderfully delicate, floral, warm, and gently sweet notes to come out of this glass skull…</p>
