<p><p> Tomatin’s experimental Cù Bòcan series is created only during the freezing Scottish winter, for a few weeks in fact Tomatin distils Scottish barley with a peat level of around 15ppm. But now the brand wants to start experimenting with innovative maturations and for this reason it has created the “Creation” series. </p><p> The Cù Bòcan Creation #1 is a slightly peated single malt Scotch whiskey created from a blend of 2 types of barrels: ex-Imperial Stout from the Scottish brewery of the <em>Black Isle Brewery</em> and ex-vino <em>Bacalhôa Moscatel de Setubal</em>. Not cold filtered and without the addition of colorings, it is bottled at 46%.</p></p><p> Color: Amber with red reflections.</p><p> Aroma: The nose welcomes us with a delicious note of smoke followed by coffee, orange peel, raisins and hints of leather.</p><p> Taste: On the palate the note of smoke on the nose accompanies us towards notes of oranges, coffee, melted butter, and oak wood.</p><p> Finish: Long with notes of chocolate, orange peel, ginger and a light note of smoke at the end.</p><p><p> Tomatin Distillers Co.
