<p>The Riesling grapes come from 3 different villages in the region and come together to create an easy drinking wine with stone and orchard fruit flavours with some delicate floral notes. Expect peach and pear aroma with a lovely, fresh citrus finish. Malolactic fermentation gives a harmonious acidity.</p><p>Hand harvested grapes. Grapes are pressed directly off skins, matured and fermented in stainless steel. </p><p>The Schmitt winery has been in the family for over 230 years with Bianka and Daniel working their 16 hectares for the last decade. They work in full biodynamics which they learned from Alsace vigneron Patrick Meyer and are one of only 80 producers in Germany to be Demeter certified.
