<p>Domaine Chanson Beaune Teurons 1er Cru 2014 Details of production: In the heart of the Premier Cru vineyards of Domaine Chanson is a plot which covers 4 hectares, in the center of the Beaune territory. It’s soils are a mix of limestone and clay and it grows premium Pinot Noir grapes. After a very cold winter and a demanding spring, the hot summer was regularly interrupted by rainy intervals. A bright and warm September speeded up the maturation of the grapes. Harvest began in the last days of September and long and careful macerations have allowed for smooth and elegant tannins in the Chanson Pinot Noir wines. This wine was aged in oak for 19 months. Tasting notes: Bright ruby. Intense aromas of ripe black cherry and plum mixed with an array of spices. Delicate vanilla note. Well-balanced and concentrated. Tight texture. Very pure aromatic combination. Well-crafted tannins. Long aftertaste. How to serve: Red meat, grilled or with a sauce.
