<p>ORGANIC / VEGAN / NATURAL / NO ADDED SULPHITES</p><p>Sparkling Pet Nat is made from Riesling grapes, harvested earlier (the vines near the forest get otherwise eaten by the birds), which is perfect as this wine maintains a brilliant freshness and lively acidity. The palate is full of sherbety lemons, elderflower, and some yeastiness. It’s all rounded up with some lovely smooth bubbles.</p><p>Located in the charming village of Andlau in Alsace, the Durrmann family has been producing organic wines from their ancestral home since 1979, with son Yann taking over the reigns last year. They firmly believe in the quality of their grapes and terroir, and aim to preserve this quality with minimal intervention in the winery, employing natural production techniques such as the use of native yeasts and low-to-no addition of sulphur. Part of the production is vinified in stainless steel while the rest is aged on old wooden casks.
