Then more complex aromas of blackberries, strawberries and spices emerge. This is the basis of our commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture.

TerroirSprinkled with pebbles, rolled and shaped by the Rhone, our Chateauneuf du Pape rests on a marly, sandy and clayey sedimentary substrate which constitutes a formidable “pantry” for the vine which can immerse its roots deep down to draw water and freshness from it in all weathers and in all seasons.

Vinification and refinementAfter an initial sorting carried out on the plot by the harvesters, the grapes are transported to the cellar in small 25 kg boxes, where, before being placed in the vats, a second selection is carried out by the winery staff. Our best Grenache and Syrah grapes are vinified without destemming. The long fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats. During the fermentation phase, various punchings can be carried out. The 18-month refinement is carried out for 1/3 of the wine in oak barrels and for the remaining part in steel.
