<p>Domaine Les Ors Chardonnay, Limoux, France, 2021Grape: A blend of 75% Chardonnay & 25% Mauzac, aged 9-10 months in French oak (1/3 new)To the east of th Pyrenees, located 15km south of Carcassonne, the Domaine Les Ors is situated on hillsides of the Aude Valley in the Mediterranean terroir, the sunniest area of Limoux AOP. This region is renowned for producing some of the best French Chardonnay outside of Burgundy. Named after the bear sighted near the village, the wine has a yellow colour with golden highlights, has a very expressive, fruity nose with aromas of peach & white-fleshed fruits and is well-balanced, with a mineral finish.Critic’s Tasting Note:”A round and flavorful chardonnay with green apples, lemons and hints of cedar on the nose.
