<p>One for the lovers of dry, pure Pinot Noir. Perfumed and full of sour cherry, blackberry and strawberry aromas, with hints of game and underlying chalky minerals. A touch of oaky spice brings it all together for a refined, long finish. The mouthful is light yet nicely textured. Matured in small barrels, and ready to be enjoyed now or in a couple of years.</p><p>Domaine Thierry Mortet was formed in 1992, when Domaine Charles Mortet was split between Thierry and his brother Denis, and Thierry set up on his own with just 4 hectares of vines. This particular release comes from Clos Prieur, a Premier Cru just south of the Gevrey-Chambertin village.
