<p>Domain Road Bannockburn Pinot Noir, Central Otago, New Zealand, 2022Grape: 100% Pinot Noir, mostly destemmed with 7% whole bunch, wild fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeast, aged 10 months in French oak barriques (25% new).Producer Tasting Note:Deep garnet with purple hues in colour, this Pinot Noir has fragrant aromas of violets, dark cherry, blackberry, dark plum, spice, tobacco leaf and toasty oak with a touch of mint on the nose. The palate is rich and concentrated with ripe black plum, cherry, dark chocolate and blackberry. A full bodied wine with ample silky fine tannins, leading to a long ripe berry finish.Critics’ Tasting Notes:”A solid and very structured pinot noir with dried strawberries, walnuts, stems and flint.
