<p>The inaugural release of a new classic Irish Single Pot Whiskey to make you smile. </p><p>The village of <em>Drumshanbo </em>sits in the middle of nowhere. Well, it’s somewhere, just not in a big city. It’s a rural town at the tip of<em> Lough Allen</em> in the northwest part of Ireland. This remote, picturesque location is where <em>PJ Denise Rigney</em> and his wife <em>Denise </em>decided to build their dream distillery — <em>The Shed.</em> PJ’s specialty is brand-building and marketing but he had been working with major Spirits companies, which ignited his passion. Opened in 2014, The Shed Distillery is fitted with <em>the finest copper still </em>— each ordered to fulfill the requirements of the signature Spirits they make.</p><p><em>Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey</em> is the inaugural release of their Irish Whiskey and the realization of a dream. It is also the first Irish Whiskey to come out of the region in more than one hundred years. It’s triple-distilled by hand in <em>small batches</em> in copper pots. The mash bill follows a very old-school tradition of using malted barley, un-malted barley, and<em> Irish Barra oats.</em> The Spirit is aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled at a pleasant <em>43%</em> ABV.</p>
