<p><em>A delicate Gin, made with fresh local raspberries.</em></p><p><em>Edinburgh Gin</em> was created in the capital of <em>Scotland </em>in 2010 and they’ve been garnering awards ever since for their innovative, small-batch Gins. Today, the team is in the more than capable hands of Head Distiller <em>David Wilkinson</em>, a renowned whisky connoisseur, and professional chef. In 2016, the company was acquired by<em> Ian Macleod Distillers</em>, the biggest Scotch company that you’ve probably never heard of. Founded in 1933, they produce more than fifteen million bottles of Spirits every year, making them the 10th largest producer in Scotland. They source and produce across two dozen or so brands and also do private-label production for other producers, restaurant chains, and even stores across Europe. And the entire operation is still<em> family-owned</em> and operated from the south side of Edinburgh.</p><p>For this special Gin, Head Distiller David Wilkinson drew inspiration just outside of Edinburgh, on the rolling fruit farms, pink with raspberries.<em> Edinburgh Raspberry Gin </em>is made with local seasonal <em>raspberries from Perthshire</em>. Fresh and dried raspberries, as well as raspberry leaves, are distilled together for a perfect balance between fresh tart flavors and sweet depth on the floral palate. Savor it with a few fresh raspberries for decoration or make a Raspberry Sparkler with simple syrup, lemon juice, raspberry puree, soda, and of course, Raspberry Gin.</p>
