<p>Elegia Primitivo di Manduria DOC Riserva 2019 – Manduria producers</p><p><p> Grape variety: Primitivo 100%</p><p> Age of the vineyards: 35-50 years</p><p> Training systems: sapling and espalier</p><p> Harvest period: second half of September</p><p> Average grape yield per hectare: 60 quintals</p><p>Vinification: in red with thermoconditioning of the fermentation process (22-24° C), two weeks of maceration.</p><p>Wine refinement: 12 months in French oak barriques</p><p> Alcohol content: 15% Vol.</p></p><p> ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS</p><p> Color: intense ruby red</p><p>Nose: elegant nose, with a strong fruity component based on wild blackberries, dried plums, raspberry jam and blueberries. Nutmeg, vanilla and cloves anticipate notes of aromatic herbs and leather. Puffs of toasted almond and withered violet petals alongside hints of undergrowth.</p><p>Taste: bright acidity and dry tannins accompany it to the end, giving it a perfect finish. Persistent</p><p> Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C</p><p>Recommended pairing: spicy boar morsels, excellent with roasts and braised meats, superb with lamb and aromatic baked potatoes.</p>
