<p>Deliciously long, bright, textural Pinot from cold, stony vineyards deep in the Maule Valleys old glacial riverbeds – some Vosges barrel fermentation adds complexity, depth and warm vanilla notes to the finish.</p><p>The strength of our long term relationships with our growers in Chile allows us to keep prices low and quality high. The grapes are sourced from high mountain vineyards in the Maule Valley.</p><p>Under the volcano known as El Descabazado grows a wiry old block of Pinot Noir. Rooted in rocky, glacial soils the fruit from this naturally low-yielding vineyard is vinified in a 200 year old hacienda that has survived three of the strongest earthquakes in recorded history.</p><p>A magical place to make wine, a little is aged in new Vosges demi-muids then judiciously blended with the unoaked majority.</p><p>Try with finger-licking marinated ribs, pink lamb and roasted veggies, mushroom and chicken risotto.</p>
