<p>A delicious blended Rum aged a minimum of ten years and delivering a rich, spicy, fruity flavor. </p><p>Bacardi is still <em>family owned</em> — seven generations of the Bacardi family have run the company since it was founded on February 4th, 1862. They are <em>the largest privately held </em>Spirits company in the world. Headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, they are best known for their namesake White Puerto Rican Rum. But they are a <em>worldwide producer</em> of Spirits covering every major category with annual sales nearing US $5 billion.</p><p>To celebrate the <em>150th</em> <em>anniversary </em>of the company, Bacardi set out to create a masterpiece line of <em>ultra-premium Rums</em>. Thus, they created the <em>Facundo</em> range of four special Rums — each distinct and unique.</p><p>We already love Bacardi’s ten year-old Rums. <em>Facundo Eximo Rum</em> is a crafted blend officially listed as a ten-year-old, but in this case, ten is the youngest Rum in the bottle with a fair amount of eleven and twelve-year-old Spirit included.</p><p><u>Smartass Corner:</u><em>The Facundo range of ultra-premium Rums from Bacardi is named after the original founder, Don Facundo Bacardi Massó.</em></p>
