<p> Foursquare 1998 22 YO Barbados edition No. 8 – The Colors Of Rum (70CL, 58.8% Vol.)</p><p> The second superb spirit of 1998 is this 22 year old Rum produced on Foursquare column. It is also the smallest edition of our ultra-old Bajan rum: only 227 bottles were produced. This rum is matured in Ex-Bourbon barrels for 7 years in the tropics with the remainder in Europe. Bottled at a cask strength of 58.8% ABV. </p><p><p> Nose: A rather round nose, with echoes of bourbon whiskey or grain whiskey. Lots of maple syrup, vanilla and hints of cake. </p><p> Mouth: Now lots of sweet bananas, mixed with sweet oranges, butterscotch and a light touch of lemon. </p><p> Finish: quite long, on dried bananas and oak spices. A slightly unexpected profile, much rounder and woodier than expected </p>
