<p>Zesty and vibrant with aromas of fresh citrus, golden plum, and meadow flowers. The palate offers more citrus and a lovely saline flicker. Some time in contact with air will help it open up to a nutty, creamy note. </p><p>Judith Beck macerated the Furmint grapes, one of Burgenland’s traditional varieties, for five days in an open fermentation vat after harvesting, then aged them for 13 months in used 500-liter barrels on the lees. She then bottled the wine unfiltered and without added sulfur.
