<p>:This Gewürztraminer is characterised by a typical bright golden yellow colour, an intense and pronounced bouquet of roses and lychees as well as discreet spicy notes of cinnamon and clove. It is full-bodied on the palate with a typically robust body and a juicy, elegant structure.Grape varierty:Gewürztraminer South Tyrol DOCProduction area:This Gewürztraminer AURATUS grows in its place of origin, Tramin, on the South Tyrolean Wine Route. On an exposed sunny vineyard in the Rungg area of Tramin, we take advantage of the ideal conditions for the production of physiologically ripe Gewürztraminer grapes. The vines grow at an altitude between 320 – 400 metres in clay-loam soil.Vinification:The fully ripe and selected grapes undergo an approximately seven-hour process of cold maceration before pressing. Temperature-controlled fermentation at 20°C and ageing on the lees give this Gewürztraminer its special flavour.Food pairing:Gewürztraminer AURATUS is ideal as an aperitif and goes exceptionally well with spicy foods, liver pate, Asian cuisine, sophisticated fish dishes, crab and lobster.Serving temperature:12 – 14°C.Ageing potential:more than 5 years.Bottle size:750 ml – 75 cl – 0,75 lt.Allergens:wine can contain sulphites.Producer:Ritterhof WineryAnd uniqueness is provided by the vineyards of the Ritterhof, which are distributed from Salorno all the way up to Renon. The product line is extremely broad, ranging from Red Muscat to Merlot and Lagrein all the way to Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer. And, it goes without saying, Schiava. That is a bow to the winegrowing tradition by the Ritterhof Estate Winery. And innovation is provided by the fungus-resistant varieties with which the Kaneppeles are experimenting in their trial vineyards. And the three colors also correspond to the three lines of the estate winery. Brown is the color of the Terra line, and thus of down-to-earth Alto Adige wines, while green decorates the Collis line for which only completely mature grapes from the best terraced slopes are used. Blue, on the other hand, stands for the top line Rarus, consisting of wines that are carefully aged in small oak casks.Tenuta Ritterhof CantinaStrada del Vino 1IT – 39052 Caldaro sulla strada del Vino (BZ)ürztraminer Auratus Crescendo 2021 – 15% vol.
