There was a distillery by that name way back in the day — the 1800s, that is. But wars, depressions, prohibition, and other misfortunes led to it disappearing form history. But in <em>2014</em>, the <em>“founding partners” </em>reopened a <em>new version</em> of the historic classic distillery in the <em>heart of Glasgow</em>. Their first releases are coming out just this year in 2019 to <em>superlative reviews</em>.</p><p><em>1770 Glasgow Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2019 Release</em> is the very first release from this <em>reborn distillery</em>. And it has already collected an impressive amount of jewelry in the form of <em>gold medals </em>— including shiny gold medallions from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, The International Spirits Challenge, The Scotch Whisky Masters, and the International Whisky Competition.</p><p>It gets is flavor from the<em> Single Malt</em>, the water from <em>Lock Katrine</em>, and <em>double-wood aging</em> — first in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, then finishing in virgin white oak.
