<p>A luscious Irish Gin with rose infusions to delight the senses.</p><p><em>Glendalough</em> was founded by “five friends from Wicklow and Dublin.” They began their journey creating Poitín — a traditional Irish distillate made in very small pot stills (sort of like small batch Irish Moonshine). From there it was a short and easy step into four Irish Whiskeys and a variety of ten, <em>unique</em>, Herbal-infused Gins as well. Everything is made <em>by hand</em> with a good measure of<em> </em><em>love</em>. </p><p>We love a<em> good Gin</em> with floral notes. The perfumery of senses is just lovely as you raise the glass to take each luscious sip. <em>Glendalough Rose Gin</em> certainly qualifies on all counts, and then some. It starts with their classic dry <em>Wild Botanical Gin </em>recipe. But they then<em> re-distill</em> it to each the juniper notes and infuse three kinds of rose petals — Heritage, Damask, and wild Irish roses from the local Wicklow Mountains. It’s a <em>truly lovely sipper</em>… it’s almost romantic. And it really adds <em>something special</em> to classic Gin cocktails.</p><p><u>Smartass Corner:</u><em>Glendalough is Gaelic for “valley of two lakes.” And if you ever get to visit the small town of Glendalough, you will find just that — a beautiful east-Ireland hamlet with a small craft distillery and two lovely lakes nearby.</em></p>
