The stills are<em> the tallest in Scotland</em> at 26’ — ensuring that <em>only the lightest vapors</em> make it to the top and resulting in a smooth, fresh, and elegant range of 23 fine single malt Whiskies. Glenmorangie is the<em> </em>best selling single malt Whisky<em> in Scotland and the rest of the UK</em>, and one of <em>Uncle Flaviar’s personal favorites. </em></p><p>If you’re <em>already a fan</em> of Glenmorangie single malts, then <em>you understand.</em> If you are<em> new to Glenmorangie, </em>you — my friend — are<em> in for a treat.</em> The core single malt in the Glenmorangie line-up is a classic Highlander aged for a decade in ex-Bourbon casks.<em> The 18 YO takes this winning formula </em>up a few notches in complexity and sophistication by starting with an<em> initial aging of fifteen years. </em>Then about <em>1/3</em> of the spirit is placed into <em>Oloroso Sherry casks </em>for the remaining<em> three years</em> while the rest stays put.
