Christian Kerschbaumer manages the estate here with his parents, his wife Veronika and their children and grows five excellent white and one red grape varieties on an area of 4 hectares, the only Pinot Noir in the South Tyrolean Isarco Valley. Kerschbaumer’s philosophy is to preserve the characteristics of the vine and the soil in the wine and to falsify it as little as possible. For this he has switched to organic cultivation and in his cellar he mainly uses native yeasts. The vineyards are located on favorable and steep slopes on the southern side of the valley. Soil conditions with a mixture of sand, gravel and claite have a beneficial effect on the quality of the grapes.Garlider Winery – Fam.
