Bottle #27 of only 192 made. A private bottling for Shinanoya’s 10th Anniversary. Shinanoya is a spirits shop owner and supermarket chain based in Tokyo with multiple outlets around the city.Critic’s Tasting Note:”NOSE: Woooow, what right Hanyu nerds, beautiful deep and full, pure aromatherapy, black cherry, all the oriental scents you can imagine behind it, frankincense, saffron, ginger, fennel, lavender, roiboos, green tea, cumin, five-spices, dates , Raisins, great, already cold incense smoke in the background with lots of tannins behind and then pure noble chocolate sauce, dark roasted coffee beans, licorice, anise, eucalyptus, pomegranate, later banana split, mahogany potion and moist tobaccoPALATE: Earl Gray tea, super sweet and dry at the same time, black cherry, camphor, saffron, dark honey, dates, raisins, turmeric, ginger, sweet licorice, incense sticks in the background, plum jam, anise, hints of frankincense, cumin, papaya and mango in sherry inlaid, truffle butter later, marzipan and cinnamon, blood orangeFINISH: Beautiful oak notes emerge more, dates, ginger, anise, lavender and cinnamon, long to very long and warm”92/100 points, LiquidThoughts, 2018This is part of a private customer’s collection.
