Since 1831, <em>Destilerías Acha</em>, still owned by the Acha family, has been sitting in the heart of the beautiful Ayala Valley in the Basque Country where they make their legendary range of Whiskeys, Vermouth, Gin, and the fruity digestif Pacharan. The nature is breathtaking there with impressive mountains, old settlings, and cold, crystal-clear water of the Nervión River. Now, Haran Whiskey is still based on a time-honored recipe from 1880, but make no mistake – this is a <em>modern Single Malt.</em> Sure, the production methods are old, including the smoking techniques and drying oak wood slowly over fire, but every Haran Whiskey surprises you with a modern touch.</p><p><em>Haran 12 Year Old Traditional Spanish Whisky</em> is based on that <em>old family recipe from 1880</em>. It’s a blend of the finest Malts that were aged in Iberian oak barrels with different toasting levels for 12 years. Fruity and creamy, malty and oaky, the long aging rounds out the character and makes this intriguing Whisky incredibly sippable.</p>
