<p>A Moon-inspired, cosmic Gin for all the night owls out there. </p><p>No special introduction needed, the one and only <em>Hendrick’s Gin</em> was launched by<em> William Grant & Sons</em> at Girvan Distillery in Scotland in <em>1999</em>, which might seem somewhat recent given their reputation. (Although if you ask a member of the Gen Z, this is already ancient history.) It was at the very beginning that<em> Charlie Gordon, </em>the great grandson of William Grant and the company founder, asked <em>Lesley Gracie</em> to hop on board and create the original Gin recipe. Over 20 years later, Lesley Gracie is still their Master Distiller and she makes sure every drop of Hendrick’s Gin tastes <em>exactly the same as the original recipe.</em></p><p>Following Midsummer Solstice Gin, this is the second release from Ms Gracie’s <em>limited Cabinet of Curiosities.</em> She is said to have been inspired by a “moonlit evening while tending to botanicals in the hothouse.” <em>Lunar Gin</em> is based on the original Hendrick’s Gin recipe, including the selection of 11 carefully picked botanicals and their curious, signature infusion of <em>rose and cucumber,</em> but with some <em>intriguing additions.</em> Distilled in two sorts of antique stills, this is a warm and spicy as well as deeply floral and aromatic Gin. Perfect for all the contemplative, reflective evenings when the day turns into night, the Moon takes over the Sun and the world becomes a magical, mysterious place. <em>Bewitching! </em></p>
