<p>A uniquely Scottish Rum blend.</p><p><em>House of Elrick</em> sits tight in <em>Aberdeen </em>in the idyllic Scottish Lowlands. This is a small batch and artisanal Spirits company that was established in the 1700s, which was the height of the enlightenment era. With their selection of fine, hand-crafted Gins and Spirits and inspired by a <em>radical shift against the ‘norm’</em>, they quickly became the centre for artists and poets who enjoyed a glass (or two) of London Dry Gin over exchanges of their philosophies. Today, House of Elrick still gets their water from Loch Ness and they use <em>8 carefully selected botanicals </em>in their Gins. They also still boast a beautiful handmade Scottish copper still known as “Charlie” after <em>Bonnie Prince Charlie</em> to make their single shot Spirit, which allows them to control the production.</p><p><em>House of Elrick Dark Rum</em> is a blend of<em> Caribbean light Rums</em>, mostly from the Dominican Republic. One forth of the blend are 3-5 YO Caribbean Rums and one fort comes from medium ester Rum from <em>Jamaica</em>. A Scottish touch was added using <em>purified Scottish water</em>. The premium Spirit was then colored with caramel to achieve its stunning hue. The result is a bright, fresh, and fragrant Rum, packed with rich and warming notes.</p><p>How to best savor it?
