<p>House of Elrick Original but bolder.</p><p>There’s a very popular show in the US called <em>“Shark Tank.”</em> But it started as a show in England called “Dragon’s Den” that is still running today. Well, a few years ago the upstart <em>House of Elrick Gin</em> appeared on that show and they were offered more than US $110,000 for a 10% share of the company… and founder<em> Stuart Ingram</em> ultimately turned it down. They have proceeded with <em>self-funding and crowd-sourcing</em> to get where they are today — an <em>Aberdeen-based Spirits</em> <em>company </em>that was established in the <em>1700s </em>in the idyllic Scottish Lowlands. With their selection of fine, <em>hand-crafted</em> Gins and a radical shift against the ‘norm’, they became the centre for artists and poets who enjoyed a glass (or two) of London Dry Gin.</p><p><em>House of Elrick Gin</em> is decidedly floral in character. They get their water from Loch Ness and use <em>8 carefully selected botanicals</em> in their production. They also have a beautiful handmade Scottish copper still known as “Charlie” after Bonnie Prince Charlie to make their single shot Spirit, which allows them to control the production.</p><p><em>House of Elrick Original Navy Strength Gin </em>is made after the same recipe as their Original Gin. The only difference? This one<em> punches at a bolder strength</em>. Clocking in at 57% ABV, this is an excellent example of a Navy Strength Gin. Crafted with juniper, citrus, coriander, pink peppercorn, angelica, sweet fennel, rose petals, heather, and some fresh water from the Loch Ness, this sipper definitely won’t get lost in your favorite Gin-forward cocktail. </p>
