Today, the family doesn’t own a bar anymore, but they’re still an important part of the industry. <em>Alan </em>and <em>Conor Hyde </em>are prominent bonders and purveyors of fine Irish Whiskey, and their name is still a celebration of tradition, know-how, and legacy.</p><p><em>Hyde No. 9 Iberian Cask</em> is a superb thrice-distilled gem that was matured in <em>charred ex-Bourbon barrels</em> for eight years before it was moved to succulent <em>Tawny Port casks </em>from Northern Portugal for another nine months. It’s a limited affair and certainly worth your attention.</p>
