<p>Alexander discovered his passion for wine in the family vineyard in the 90’s. Willing to go further, he created a company dedicated to Languedoc wines. As a real pioneer and visionary man, Alexander Krossa combines technical and commercial know-how to the service of partner winegrowers. His philosophy: being a professional of foreign customer relationship in controlling technical process, selection and blends with his partners. Located in the heart of the widest vineyard in the world, La cave d’Alignan combines tradition and modernity, first throughout its various terroirs but also with its parcel selection and wine making process. Under Mediterranean climate, the terroir beneficiates of a strong wind coming from the North. This dry wind is a real protection for the vines. Moreover, they take advantage of a favourable exposure and this enables a slow grape maturity.Grapes come from high maturity plots. Direct pressing on arrival at the cellar and cold settling of the must. Once the alcoholic fermentation has started, the must is transferred into French oak barrels.
