The first aromas to emerge from the glass are fruity with a bit of berry, cherry and woodsy hints of honey and grain. On the palate, the whisky is assertive, quite normal for a cask strength bottling, but replete with fruity flavors tinged with oak- citrus, a little spice, definite oak influence.
