<p>Fresh and appealing Sicilian white from the indigenous Grillo grape. A ripe and spicy nose with floral and stone fruit characters. The palate has more honeyed stone fruit and savoury notes backed by fresh citrus acidity.</p><p>Grapes were sourced from vineyards in the coastal area of the western tip of Sicily – in Petrosino, Trapani and Marzara del Vallo areas. Vines are cultivated in chalky soils with sandy patches, and are of average age 20–25 years. Harvesting takes place late August / early September. After temperature-controlled fermentation for 30 days, the wine is filtered and bottled.</p><p>Particularly good with white fish, grilled octopus, plaice in sauce or chicken caesar salad.</p>
