<p>Dense, vibrant and youthful in appearance, with well-integrated characters. The wine is beautifully perfumed, with violets, cherries, red berries and gentle vanilla oak notes. The palate has a fresh burst of blackcurrant followed by a delicious ripe blueberry character. Tannins are poised, building to the finish, where there are hints of liquorice.</p><p>From vineyards planted in 1996. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrel and is then aged in American and French oak for 10 months before spending sometime in bottle.</p><p>Great with albondigas, ox tongue, traditional dishes.</p>
