<p>An ethereal, undeniably soft texture permeates the palate in this pure Vodka expression. </p><p>Kauffman Vodka was founded in 2000 by <em>Dr. Mark Kauffman</em> in Moscow, and these guys are serious about the purity and quality of their national drink. It’s the world’s only <em>“vintage” Vodka</em>, distilled fourteen times. And it’s filtered up to three times — twice through quartz sand and once through activated birch charcoal. That sounds pretty serious to us. All that hard work and vintage stuff means that the total capacity is about <em>30,000 bottles</em> across their entire product range — barely enough for a Russian block party. If you are a Vodka fan, Kauffman Vodkas are <em>a “must”</em> for your bucket list.</p><p><em>Kauffman Vodkas</em> are the only “vintage Vodka” that we know of. That means that grain was grown, harvested, fermented, and distilled in a single year. In this case, the grain is wheat. As we said, Kauffman Vodkas are <em>distilled an insane fourteen times</em> and double filtered. This makes an incredibly smooth Spirit with a creamy, <em>soft mouth-feel</em> — which is where the Vodka gets its name and why it forms the core Spirit in the Kauffman line-up. And all that effort is also why production is so <em>severely limited.</em></p>
