<p> Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old Barolo Cask Finish (70CL, 46% Vol.) </p><p> The Knappogue Castle Cask Finish Series is a range of single malts finished in the finest wine casks. Marchesi di Barolo limited release is matured in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 years, then further aged in barrels from the renowned Barolo Winery. Produced exclusively from malted barley, distilled in copper stills, this expression is filtered unchilled and bottled at 46% ABV.</p><p><p> Nose: Fruity with aromas of strawberries, cinnamon rolls, banana pancakes and caramel candies.</p><p> Palate: A great mix of spice and fruit characters. Red apples, berries and red cherries. </p><p> Finish: Hints of peppery oak lead to a spicy finish.</p>
