Kwak

<p>Kwak is recognisable by its deep bright amber colour and a dense, creamy coloured head, as well as distinctive glass and wooden glass holder. </p><p> A malty aroma and a slightly spicy character (think coriander and hops), very mellow with a fruity attack and a slightly spicy character; hints of liquorice passing into a warm finish that reminds you of caramelised banana. </p><p> Go back a few centuries and virtually every Flanders village boasted a family brewery and Bruggenhout was no exception. Since 1791 it has been the home of the home of Brouwerij Bosteels, the family brewer behind such famous beers as Kwak, Tripel Karmeleit and Deus, the “Brut des Flandres”. </p><p> The brewery is now under the guardianship of Ivo and son Antoine Bosteel, the sixth and seventh generation of Bosteel at the helm of one of Belgium’s best loved breweries.</p>
