<p>Former sommelier Laura Aillaud is among a wave of talented growers raising the bar in the Luberon – a stretch of hilly vineyards between Avignon and Aix-en-Provence in the southern Rhône. Starting out alongside leading minimal intervention grower Jean-Christophe Comor at Domaine des Terres Promises, Laura farms 3ha of her own lovingly restored vines across a diverse array of local grape varieties.</p><p>Made in a juicy, fruit-forward style that’s balanced by fresh acidity, gentle alcohol, and mineral tension – in other words, perfect for a long boozing session – Laura’s joyful, whistle-clean natural wines are among our favourite recent discoveries (our mother company, Keeling Andrew & Co are the UK importers).</p><p>‘Tout Feu Tout Femme’ is total juice. Made using whole-bunch Grenache and spending six months in concrete, it offers high-toned black fruit, sous bois, smoke, and spice. Thirst-quenching and silky.</p>
